Out of Context

Each painting in the Out of Context series presents a cropped female figure — head always and feet usually excluded — drawn from a found photograph whose original context has been stripped away. Without a face or a narrative to anchor them, the viewer is left to construct their own reading, and the subjective nature of their gaze in an overly objectified and comidified world.

All paintings below are original oil on canvas and available for purchase directly from the studio. Prints are also available for select works from CZK 2,200.
